Records Management
Tyler’s Records Management Software (RMS) is the heart of the Public Safety system. It provides more than 30 law enforcement, criminal investigation, and administration record management modules. This product handles such key information as arrests, citations, incidents, offenses, and parking tickets. Data is stored centrally, allowing access from other applications. Records Management integrates with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Jail Management.

User Friendly

Offense/incident forms and accident report forms are customized for each state’s requirements and Tyler products adhere to Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) or National Incident Based Reporting (NIBRS). Other user-friendly attributes include:

  • Incident/offense forms can be approved electronically by supervisors and locked as read-only for additional software security.
  • System alerts user with a prompt for critical information before an application closes with an incomplete record still open.
  • A unique active records management system allows for users to keep track of all records they have accessed.
  • Multimedia files can be attached to any record: digital photos, video, audio, slides, scanned documents, and more.
