Position Objective
To enhance, modify, integrate, and develop new applications for the Munis Financials/General Ledger product.
Responsibilities
- Design and write major modules to meet specifications
- Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally
- Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance
- Modify and test existing programs to meet new or revised specifications
- Assure program, module and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures
- Prepare and modify program and system documentation
- Build and work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Continue to develop expertise in existing and new technologies and tools
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science or Math or equivalent experience
- 2 years of programming experience with database technology
- Familiarity with Silverlight, ASP/ASP.NET, SQL, C++/C#. Informix-4GL desirable
- Experience working with financial applications desired
- Experience with data modeling tools beneficial
- Experience with web services and/or Service Oriented Architecture beneficial
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
